Spec Me A Wireless Mouse

I've been having a look around for a mouse to use for gaming on my laptop (note, does not necessarily have to be a 'gaming mouse') and gradually becoming more and more kinda lost with what's on offer. Issues are:
The regular 'mobile' mice like the Logitech M185 and similar look really small and not comfortable for gaming at all.
I've considered a more expensive mouse, but I've only managed to get my hands on a Logitech Performance MX and the scroll wheel was quite amazingly annoying, being difficult to press and receive any feedback it had actually done anything, with very little travel and very poor 'click'.
I've also considered a a G602 or an Anywhere MX but have no idea how usable they'd be for primarily FPS gaming and don't really have any way of trying them. Any thoughts?
A nano receiver would be best as this mouse would only ever be used on my laptop, so I could leave the receiver plugged in.
No real preference between AA battery powered or internal LiOn battery that is tethered, as long as there's no damnable charging cradle.
So, anyone out there play FPSs on a laptop with a mouse and found a good solution? The Logitech Anywhere MX does look like an OK half-way house at the moment, but might still be a teeny bit small. Any suggestions or alternatives?

Don't personally play on a laptop but have owned the G700s for a good year now and hands down one of the best mice I've owned.

I'll start with the negatives as it's good to understand them first. Battery life isn't great even using eneloops. However setting the polling rate lower when not gaming I get a good 1-2 days out of it.

You can plug in the cable and use it in wired mode while it still charges but the cable isn't the most flexible. Currently using a micro usb cable I had lying around and it does the job just fine (much shorter cable too).

The good side

Buttons internally use metal construction so are rated for a stupid number of clicks, macro keys and software are great and you can setup different key setups for different games/applications. General setup is web page back/forward and music controls until I load up a game. Tracking and DPI settings are superb and comparing it to a wired gaming mouse I have yet to notice the difference between them in terms of lag.

The scroll wheel has a rather interesting feature. Pressing the button behind it you can either engage it to click as you scroll or disengage it and the scroll wheel will free spin. Enabling you to fly down long files or web pages. You've also got side scrolling and a button on the scroll wheel when you press down on it.

Anyway, any questions just drop a message below.

Can also reccomend the G700 or G700s. Its heavier than most mouse at ~150g but you get used to it. Battery life as above isn't great but by their own self admission it is due to their focus on absolute performance above economy but you can switch profiles very easily and have one with a low polling rate and power saving battery setting for desktop use.

As a testement to itself, I've had this mouse for over 2 years and its still performing valiantly. I keep trying to find a replacement for it but they keep getting sent back as nothing I've found really compares.

Another G700s user here and it is bloody fantastic!!
I won't bore you with the features, but it ticks all my major boxes. Good size for larger hands as well as small, too.

i replaced my aged mx1000 with the g700 at first was no to keen but after a few weeks and tuning the setingd to my tast its a great mouse.

Love the G700, great wireless mouse. Used to use mx518 and found the g700 just as if not more comfortable after getting used to the weight.

Damn... The G700/s was the conclusion I was coming to as well. Looks like payday has a use now! Thanks all :D
