I'm still trying on that one. Not got one single jet fighter ribbon. I just can't get 5 kills in a round with them as I'm not a good enough Pilot.

I am of course referring to the 3x Bomber Ribbons which are a partial requirement to unlock the Airburst for the UVAC in Support class. Just need to get 20 kills with the UCAV now, bit of a grind but more fun than the damn bomber.

Got that a while ago.....ucav kills should come pretty quick, just go for people....groups if you can....its vet easy to get multi kills with this and its also great for getting snipers. When you unlock the air burst you can take down little birds with one hit....airburst also allow you to explode the ucav whenever you want with right trigger...it won't explode if you don't detonate it....ucav is great...takes about a minute to respawn I think.

Bomber becomes much more of a joy when you unlock cruise missiles for it

That was the second worse ever assignment for me. Best tip I can give is continue to fly stealth jets and chip away at upgrading to the 30mm cannons. Play only Hardcore and stick with the railway map and the rough sea one (just woke up and cant recall map names lol). User laser guided on the boats primarily, but also go for the AC130 and sometimes if youre lucky you'll get multiple kills. Hell of a grind though especially if like me you prefer infantry combat.

Yeah I heard its much more versatile with airburst. Only need 10 more kills with UCAV now. Trying to do them quick before BF4 somehow thinks I havent completed the bomber ribbons and takes them away lol


So Recon is my fave class, but soon I believe it will be: Support with SCAR-H DMR, Shorty 12G, C4 explosive and airburst UCAV. Now thats a versatile class. CQB to mid-range in infantry and in anti-vehicle :D
 
Anyone fancy getting a squad death match ocuk game organised?

We'd need 4 teams of 4, there's enough ps4 guys to fill all the spots.

In other newss I'll be on tonight

I found best thing for getting the jet ribbons was using jets with the laser bombs on ground units, particularly right at the start of rounds where people get in quads / bikes / jeeps, you can get 2 kills quite easily in the first 30 seconds, it does then turn in to a bit of luck but there's usually somebody running around in light vehicles that can get killed easily, 2 good hits will hit a tank 60pts of health so if there's a tank under attack you might get a good 2 kills there too.

Yep had this since launch, also always on bf3 on pc. Just doesnt make sense. For example say you have no filters on and loads of games show up lik 64 player conquests etc, then as soon as you filter to look for conquest, it doesnt find the ones i just saw

I found having a NAT type on ps4 helps finding servers! My NAT was unknown until I manually entered my wireless router info, now my NAT type is 2. And Can now find hundreds of servers when searching for them.
 
I think I've just applied to join the platoon - ps4 ID Col_Jacko, although the website doesn't render very well on my phone

that way you can team up with them and then add the people who have them added, etc.

Don't look for conquest look for conquest large, which is further down the list. There's no conquest servers only conquest large. God knows why they did that!
 
PSN being crap tonight, party chat not working, servers crashing out, played in silence pretty much as no one speaks in game, just bogo game sound, had one really bag game, team full of low ranks against a team of pretty much high ranked well experienced players didn't end well.

New server we lost, but had much more fun, nearly finished the PDW-R mastery and time to move to another weapon.
