I wasn't expecting the m135i to come off so badly in the review.

Annoyed they didn't drive the A45 AMG as well. I know its eye wateringly dear but they had it there, may as well have given it a run out?

The 918 looks a great car and does move the development of petrol and electric driven motors forward.
The P1 appears to be take it to another level on the speed side.

Looking forward to seeing the 'La Ferrari' when it's launched.

It wasn't a review - it was Clarkson's 'look at me I'm special' opinion on it.

Since when did people start expecting serious and factual?

The reviews have always been stupid like the BMW/Golf thing - classic example when they raced the Evo FQ400 in fifth gear against some tiny crap box, that was 2004! Ten years ago! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVt1IjIdLxY 1m in)

If people still don't know what to expect after more than a decade then I don't really know what to say? Watch stuff like /DRIVE on YouTube instead?

Obvious M135 driver is obvious.

If you thought Clarkson was genuinely slating the M135 you misinterpreted that segment. I love the look of it. Once I've got a family to haul around the Z4M can go and that might replace it.

Unless I win the lottery in which case I'll have the terrible decision of a 918 vs a P1. 0.1% percentile first world problems.

Lap time of M135i was impressive though.
