My Phantom S5.

I only ever heard of 'stages' in the usa. Never heard from Japan.

Still, nice S5, they go well for the size.

'Relatively low' pal, 333hp isn't low by any stretch of the imagination :p

Colleague of mine has the rs5 and it's great fun, can't wait to hear how this drives after some revo (or similar) loving.

Looks quite similar to ours. My wife has a 2014 S5 in metallic black with the two tone black/red interior. Definitely taking ours to be tuned soon, Stasis actually provide warranty with their tuning installs if you have them done at an authorized Audi dealer (USA only I believe).

I much prefer the S5 to my previous E92 M3, it's a really good car and very good looking too.

Its like the term "detail" or "delete", it crept into our terminology in the last few years

Er just because you have only recently incorporated it into more everyday vocabulary that doesn't mean it is a new terminology.

Stages has been a term in the industry since before I was racing and that was back in 1978.

The reason it has crept into common use I would say is entirely down to it's use in video games, however it has been an accepted term applied to vehicle mods in the industry since at least the 1970's that I can remember, probably a lot longer. My 1966 Ford Anglia had a Stage 3 1500gt engine in it and that was in 1983.

I would hazard a guess it is a term that has been used since before most of the commenter's in this thread were born!

I would just 100% check with the dealer about the Stasis warranty as there are lots of rumours at the moment that they have been getting kicked from dealers all over the country.

Most likely. However I would also like to hazard a guess that it's misuse and overuse have caused it's definition to now be somewhat diluted.

And annoying.

Absolutely beautiful

One minor niggle .. I hate the lack of symmetry that half blacked out windows bring to a motor :(

nice car. Ive got the v8 S5 in phantom black/red interior. Still love it.

Not sure i like the blacked out window surrounds on yours, but its still lovely.

By far the best thing about the V8 though is the soundtrack. it sounds completely awesome, and makes up for the 21mpg avg lol. Whats the v6 sound like?

Its nice, it has that 'quality' sound to it and rumbles along nicely when giving it some.

Could do with a bit more, which im sure will come with the exhaust upgrade.
