hello all!

i've pieced together a bit of a frankenstein's monster of a pc over the recent months/years and have now got to the point where i'm looking to replace the case i originally got in 2011.

what i have at the moment is:

Intel i5-4670K
Asus HD 6950
16GB RAM
Gigabyte Z87-DH3P

don't want anything mental expensive but i'm not worried about spending a bit of money.

spec me up.

that corsair looks the part but is it functional for a gaming set up?

i've seen good things about the ronin though, too. would you suggest one over the other? noise IS a factor for me but it's not a huge issue either way. i'd just like something that will probably do a better job of airflow and cooling than my current case.

PLUS, i've not actually dabbled in adding case fans before. is there a certain fan or set of fans you'd suggest i look at?

cheers :)

my only issue with that case is that a) you have to pay more for the black version (which is preferable to ICE WHITE)
and b) the front USB ports are on the top of the case which would make them inaccessible as the case sits in a compact area. to be honest, it probably doesn't do the airflow any good either but ho hum.

starting to think the ronin is the way to go actually. quite like the look, the 4 front usb slots e.t.c. i can probably make it work with where it'll go in my room.

with regards to case fans, any recommendations? :)

My vote goes to the Obsidian 750D pictures just don't do this case justice, it's beautiful but I am biased as I own one ;)

I'd also forget about an internal optical as it will spoil the elegant look and go for one of these too, it has a brushed aluminium finish identical to the case, no silly power supply, just a usb plug and go job.

Here's a review for the case.
