Unusual things to do in London?

If you want to go somewhere a bit different, try:

Columbia Road Flower Market Sunday (8am til 3pm) - shops, cafes, lots of people hanging out.
London Fields Broadway Market Saturday (9am til 5pm) - similar to above with plenty of park to hang out in nearby etc. You can walk along the canal tow path back towards Angel afterwards to get back to town if the weather is pleasant enough.

Both are the other side of town to your hotel though so I'd only make the trip if the weather holds.

I've heard some good things about the new Viking exhibition at the British Museum. You're also right next to the Natural History/Science museums and the V&A in Kensington.

If you want something alternative, how about something like Hint Hunt?

Looks interesting, might see if I can wangle this for a team offsite. :D

I'd highly recommend the Comedy Store in Leicester Square, particularly Wednesday evenings as that's their improvisation night was brilliant the few times we have been.

Nice and close to China Town too for a pre/post-show meal.

I live in London. My sister in law came over from saffrica for xmas and my missus booked some tickets for a Jack the Ripper walking tour. I moped and moaned, squealed and squirmed, but there was no way I was getting out of it.

Now I can't recommend it enough. Incredibly interesting and well worth the £14 odd for a ticket.

Then you do what the rest of London does - get drunk.
