Tax a car... on a Sunday?

Hey guys,

Possibly going to get a new car but the only day I'd be available is Sunday.
Can't tax online as I can't say yes to the Address is correct on reminder form.
PO shut on a sunday.

If I phone them can I tax it on a sunday?

If your buying from a garage then certainly can get them to tax it.

If its an individual again you could come to an agreement to get them to tax it for you.

If your making that kind of journey for the car it seems like you are very intent on buying it unless its not as described.

If your worried about the extra cost of the tax you could always just get 6 months instead of 12 straight off.

Get the current owner to tax it online under his name on the Sunday, then get him to post you the TD when it turns up.

should be at least one in every town/city that is open sundays. just for convenience. a bit like if you need to go to tesco on a sunday after 4pm... the big 24hr ones are closed (24 hour...closed....oxymoron xD ) so you go to the little 7-11 ones just handy incase you forget to do something.
