In regards to the hardware, CS have said that as long as each part is covered by its warrentee it will be ok![]()
Good idea on the cleaning front, one thing I do have a lot of is fine brushes (got car cleaning OCD). Will give it a good clean out over the weekend to get rid of the coolant.
One the plus side it at least is giving me the chance to sort out all my cables in the caseWill be getting a load of cable ties tomorrow and clearing up the rats nest of cables I have.
I would be very surprised if the manufacturers warranty covered the use of watercooling components in your rig to be honest.
Your best bet in this case may be a claim on your contents insurance, i know mine covers all our electrical goods in the house and for accidental damage which would apply in this case.
Your premium would go up in the event of a claim though.
A proper custom loop is costly but if you want to try out real water cooling, a good flexible case is really advantageous and worth the money.
Carbide air 540 offers some of the best radiator options for such a small case and at such a good price too!
Alternatively, you can just ghetto mod your current case and find a place to mount the radiator externally or internally.
