Almost certainly.
It's a tough call really. Snails have more downforce due to their built in aero kit. Slugs, whilst clearly built for straight line speed, are lighter due to the lack of aero. Snails definitely corner quicker but then the slug will obliterate it on the straights.
Can we improve them at all? Maybe give the slug sone aero to level the field?
I say we do that and put them on a track for a bit, see what happens.

Snails can't swim, they attract enemy radar, they attract sharks, they insist on being placed at "the captain's table", they get up late, they nudge people whilst they're shooting. They muck about. Imagine ... the fear... of knowing you have a gay snail on board a boat, when you retire at night you think to yourself, "God ... will I wake up and find everybody dead?"
You can't run a ship like that.

Indeed. Snail appears to be 83% faget which is convincing science whichever way you slice it.

I know a study has been done on snails but can you put nail varnish on slugs, drop them off 100 yards from where you found them and will they find their way back?
