FIFA 14

Jaaaaysus. De Rossi heads into his own net as the man on the post. Instead of just chesting it or heading it away he instead crooks his neck to his left under the ball and heads it upwards into the net :o. Won 5-2 in the end but Christ...
 
That was such a frustrating game to play, the way you pass the ball, keeping possession. A great way to play as it really frustrates the opponent, I hated the ball being passed backwards and sidewards so much. I had no idea what I needed to do to take control of that game.

I think I could have opened it up a bit if I turned sweat mode on and start to do a few more lobbed through balls. :p

With slow players like Kroo and Thiago in the middle it's never gonna be at pace. It can be hard to use this team against players that sprint and contain but i prefer playing this rather than the lob balls and cross spam. This way you wait for people to move into space before releasing the ball. I can see why people hate this game play though, most online players just want sweat.

Really? His stats look great! El Shaarawy is weaker and I haven't had too much of a problem with him so far. I'll give him a few games and if he's not too great will sell him to fund someone else that would improve the team or start building another league squad.

In other news EA's servers are buggered...again.

We need a game some time soon ;) Really enjoyed my games with Kanifee, we barely made any crosses into the box and in someway i feel bad if i do :eek::D

Tom's game was equally as good although towards the last 2 mins the lob balls did start :p Tom i would recommend you give this style of football a try, you would be surprised at how some spaces just open up playing this. Players that constantly want sweat end up opening there own defence for you to slide the through ball into.

El Shaarawy was much better than Di Natale, i bet you will be selling him soon. If you want a decent striker try Vucinic.

Think i'm currently in Season 7 although i rarely play seasons. I spend most of my time playing Gold Cups as all the sweat is in Div 3 and above. When i played Fifa 13 i won the Division cup but didn't enjoy the game there so switched to playing Gold/New Cups only.

My style of football can still beat the sweat teams though, all i need to do is pass it around more until they start breaking there own defence down. However, its really really difficult against the sprint containers to the point where you are forced to pass back to your defence and along the back four until his energy levels are down.
 
Mixed bag in his first game Di Natale. Scored a couple but missed a couple too. Felt good enough though; responsive. Really liking the false 9 too, not holding down R2 all the time is really helping me keep possession too, usually 55% or above in most games. Won three of my last four games 5-2 after going behind :p.
 
Made a change and popped in TOTY Lahm, seems pretty good so far, thinking of IF Hummels & UP Alaba next, if I could bring myself to sell Vieri I could get IF Robben, too...hmm...

Javi Martinez really is phenominal though!
