I game at 1920x1200 resolution.

I currently have the following specs:

3570k @ stock
GTX 670 WF OC
Gigabyte UD3H mobo
8Gb 1600Mhz Ram
Win 8.1 x64

I'm thinking of purchaseing another 670 for sli. Never done it before.

I do play all the latest titles etc... BF4 etc etc etc...

What do you reckon. Worth it? 2Gb VRAM limit?

If you have a compatible mobo and a good enough psu to power it then its the best bang for buck upgrade you can do.

Don't be like me and buy one only to figure out your mobo doesn't support it, so you buy a new mobo... and sure while you are doing that you may as well get a new cpu... and while i have the mobo out it would be a good time to replace the case.. and sure while im doing that i may as well get a new psu!!!!

My PSU is a Thermaltake 850watt (I think)

Let put it this way, SLI 670's wont be wasted on a 1920x1200 monitor?

And it's easy to do? Just install it in the pci ex slot, attached sli bridge and turn PC back on?

Reinstall drivers?

Pretty much.
You don't need to re-install drivers, just enable it in the nvidia control panel under 3d something or other!

One GTX 780 certainly doesn't match 2x GTX 670 SLi performance at all - been there done that !. That's why I later upgraded to 2x GTX 780 SLI to get the additional boost :)

2x GTX 670 2GB for 1920x1200 is superb ! I even had 3x 670 for 1200p lol. So you will be fine for at least another year.

Needs a 780Ti to match 670/680 SLI win/draw/loose some benches, but at least a single card will be consistent where as SLI/Crossfire is not.

I went SLI 670's and yeah its great, gotta be honest you might have to overclock your CPU to 4+ My gpu usage can be a bit hit'n'miss but every game i play has better performance (BF4, crysis 3 etc) and I can wack everything on full, with Nvidia inspector custom AA and down-sampling.
