This thread is spot on.
Even though the PS4 and Xbox one has just been released even to today the hardware inside the unit is already 1 year old. its outdated already....
And obviously the most important thing about a console is the hardware inside it. lol
Also. Comparing a PC and a console is hard done, Have you seen what they managed to do with 256mb RAM On PS3? When a system is dedicated to one venture, its amazing what's achievable. The Last of Us? Uncharted?
Now we have a PS4, with 8GB DDR5. Yeah maybe its a year old tech wise, but if they do the optimization in the same way. It won't matter in the slightest. I have no clue what The sequel to the Last of Us, Uncharted or Beyonds Two Souls will look like on the New hardware. But considering how amazing they look on the PS3. I can only imagine they will look, and more importantly
PLAY simply amazingly.
PCs are amazing machines, I'm currently waiting on payday to cough up £530 on a 290x Lightning edition. But seriously, Devs on PC need to tighten up their optimization, And we need more immersive content, and decent 3rd person action adventures!
Few games manage to get to the same quality on PC, as what's on console.(Don't get your back up, Keep reading!

I'm not talking about Sexy graphics, We all know the PC is a powerhouse. I'm talking about the quality of IPs.
It's not PCs fault, The developers generally aim to release to mass markets, and the Console market is a very very easy target.
