Asus maximus extreme vi and bluetooth audio

Can I connect to a bluetooth speaker with this mobo and play music?

Do not see why not if you install the Add on card up top of I/O area.

Cheers I thought as much but Asus is a bit vague as my plan would be to connect to a bluetooth speaker and play via pc

What Asus software would I use to play the music? Or will Windows 8 media player be sufficient
