Is it weird.....

Were the ones it modelled after plastic. Fake banana flavour has got to be one if the worst fake flavouring. Just tastes chemically and horrible. Blugghhh.

Yeah I still want to try a Gros Michel, I would happily pay £500 to try one.

It is literally forbidden fruit. I must have it.

If you looked hard enough you could probably find a private collector who has a tree, I think they are meant to be bit sweeter than the cavendish but I don't like bananas anyway so I won't be trying one.

I've genuinely tried, no one would sell me one!

"What do you want to do with it?"
Apparently
"Eat it man! Eat it!"
Is frowned upon.

They're supposed to be more "banana-ey" if that makes sense, much better flavour.

Think of it like that perfectly round object they made, because I can't touch it without certain things I really want to touch it now. No gloves or anything, just grab a hold of it and give it a squeeze!
 
Like mint tea, like chocolate

HATE, anything with two combined, mint aero, mint choc ice cream etc . NO NO NO NO NO
 
i hate bacon flavoured anything but like bacon itself
i dislike most cheese flavoured foods but like cheese
the texture of nuts make me feel sick but i love almond flavoured things, like nutella and love satay chicken (done with smooth peanut butter) and the smell of a snickers makes me feel ill

Sounds like there is a banana scene I am not missing out on.

yeah, most banana-flavoured things taste artificial, but a tart/cake made from fresh bananas is divine.

I reckon they only taste artificial because it is an extinct flavor, if you'd grown up eating them it'd taste normal. It was around the 50's they pretty much got wiped out.

Our modern bananas aren't bred for flavour, they're incredibly resilient to the Panama disease and very easy to grow, they're ok but not what they could be.

Fun fact, plastic bananas are modeled on Gros Michel bananas.
