US: The Walking Dead Season 4 (contains spoilers)

Wondered that too, maggie or beth don't seem to care about each other anymore...

Plus beth is just asking to be smashed more and more every episode :p

their was about 20 of them as well and how did they know someone was in their?

20 silent ninja zombies

the show is good but totally unrealistic at times

Yea all you heard was a little tinkle from the plates outside, with that amount of zombies it would have been an orchestra out there. Had me in stitches.

But I enjoyed the episode, seeing the characters develop and evolving in the "new" environment. 3 Episodes to start bringing Terminus and the groups closer together.

I assumed the kidnapper guy lured them there. How is another question.

exactly, how did he lure them to the building and then manage to make it away without them chasing him if it was him that lured them there?

therefore that theory doesn't make sense but it is what i initially thought, someone sent them there to get them both outside or to kill them.

it just doesn't seem plausible.

And cut the trip wire. That's my assumption anyway. The 'why' is the interesting part.

even if he did manage to cut the trip wire, place 20 zombies on the front door all attacking the building trying to get in without them chasing after him, would they all be super silent ninja zombies?

none of it adds up.

it was a great episode though, i really liked the bit where they went back in time to when that guy from "the wire" was on his own surviving, now that was realistic and superb.

how many years have supposedly past up until this point from after the outbreak?

what i also don't get is why they sometimes don't kill one or two zombies when they are on their own. i mean best to pick them off one at a time straight away rather than let them group up and become a problem.

Decent episode I thought. Still not amazing TV but it had some momentum at least. The home invasion by zombies was utterly stupid, but stealth attacks by groups of walkers seem to be a dime a dozen in TWD these days so it wasn't particularly surprising.

I think that's probably more wishful thinking on your part. Daryl's become protective of her and she's just lost her Dad and is trying to deal with that, I don't think either of them are looking to get laid.

When was the last time either of them had a bath?
It'd smell like a cheesy crabcake.

doesn't the body cleanse itself?

yes your not going to smell like dove but i'm pretty sure the human body does a good job of keeping itself cleanly as possibly naturally.

i'm sure they must take baths in lakes, rivers, canals, etc whenever they can, but i doubt it's top priority.

Episode 14 spoilers

Thank GOD the 2 girls are dead. I started the episode thinking I can't wait until these 2 are killed off, and what to you know :D I thought that was a really good episode despite the terrible acting from the 2 girls.

Damn quite a shocking episode imho, wasn't expecting that.

This season seems to be getting back to character development, dark / gritty.. I'm glad that governor stuff is over..

How many eps in this season?

shame the characters, script and acting is so god damn horrendous.

the show is an absolute joke now, I'm fine with the lack of action but you can't go all deep on character development when the script writing is as consistently terrible as it currently is. It's so bad it makes genuinely talented actors seem awful, just look at tyreese for the perfect example. He was amazing in The Wire but in this he's terrible because the script and dialogue he has to work with is so mind numbingly bad.

Its no surprise though given all the behind the scenes troubles the show has had in terms of hiring/firing writers/producers etc.

It's fine, better than a lot of the TV shows out atm. The problems with the producer were financially related not creatively. He couldn't work with a lower budget so they got someone else. AMC aren't a wealthy company so they have to restrict the budget to continue making the show viable.

The writing and acting is good imho. Half of it is relating to how the characters have to evolve or devolve in their environment when everything's gone to crap. Their not just drip feeding you emotion, sometimes you have to feel what the dialogue isn't saying, and use your own thoughts / feelings. I prefer shows that don't give you emotional queues (90% of amercian TV) and everyone is at risk. There are far worse shows out atm.

Considering the budget, and the problems AMC have had. This show is very good.

Surely the Walking Dead pulls in huge numbers for them financially? I mean adverts must be quite a premium with the viewing figures they get? The DVDs... Games etc

Not sure what split they get given the magazine guys are involved, but id have thought the show would get a great budget?
