How did the cranes get down again?

Anyway, cool video but I have to add I hate the name and the way the US tries to make 'freedom' synonymous with the United States, as if there are no other non-drachonian democracies on Earth but them. Not to mention they have some very "anti-freedom" laws (like 'jaywalking, outlawing topless sunbathing and Kinder Eggs).

I think these tower blocks are some of the greatest achievements of mankind. Ludicrous how high they get.

Will be interesting to see how long this one stays up though....

too soon ?

I hope the Freedom Tower has a decent Freedom Lift so you don't have to kill yourself climbing endless Freedom Stairs to the Freedom Viewing Platform at the top.

I like the Freedom Windows, they're really working for me. I hear the Freedom Air Conditioning is good too.

Massive amounts of red tape prevented the air force in releasing its planes early.

No it didn't. The only problem was human error.

The 9/11 Commission determined that on the morning of September 11, the FAA did not adequately notify NORAD of the hijackings of Flights 11, 175, 77 or 93 in time for escort aircraft to reach the hijacked flights.

Notification of the hijacking of Flight 11 prompted the scrambling of two fighter jets from Otis Air National Guard Base, but they were not in the air until after Flight 11 had hit the North Tower.

An erroneous FAA report of a hijacked plane heading towards Washington ("phantom Flight 11") prompted the scrambling of three more fighters from the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, which due to "poor communications", ended up flying eastward, out to sea, instead of heading toward Washington, significantly delaying their arrival on the scene.

Amazing.

Still incredible that the Burj Khalifa is still 53% taller!

Is it eally

As amazing as these building are, I still can't help these building are sitting ducks though. Very brave decision I think to reconstruct a tower on the same site and a testament "that life goes on".

Out of interest, here' the original world trade center construction work.

Gotta feel sorry for the guy who owned the WTC, I bet his wallet must have been crying as he paid for the construction of the new one lol (the insurance payout was nowhere near enough to cover it, and they couldn't just rebuild the originals because they didn't meet safety standards by the time they were completed never-mind today.
