Well, not really, I'm sure they aren't that interested in you..

I'm sure there's quite a few people who don't know about this.

https://maps.google.com/locationhistory/b/0

Can show where you/your android device has been if it is linked to your Google Account.
You can also select daily, weekly, monthly etc.

i.e. this month for me

Wasnt apple caught doing somthing similar a while ago?

Hardly that surprising they are though. Fairly sure they know what I had for dinner last night lol.

We all have GPS fitted smart-phones so it's only a matter of aggregating the storing the data really. Scary indeed but most techs are now double edged swords..

You mean that option they give me about storing my location history actually stores it if I say yes!?!? CALL THE PAPERS!

I wouldn't rely on it too much.
I know I only left the house twice that day, for about 10 minutes at a time.

I was pretty shocked when i first discovered this and traced where i had been over the last few weeks.

I decided to leave it on just encase i ever wanted to look back at a specific date to recall something. It would be pretty useful to back myself up if i ever needed to as well.

I don't mind tbh. It's useful as a sat-nav to "take me home". Same with national rail enquiries app using "take me home" button. What I discovered recently that I found interesting is that my desktop PC's search history is also saved on my phone via my Gmail account. E.g. I was going to a friend's for NYE. He gave me the post code for me to punch into Google on the desktop PC. Once near his house, I whipped my phone out, typed the 1st letter of the postcode in search, which auto-completed to what I typed in on the desktop. Pretty handy when you don't have a physical keyboard.
