No word, it released in america, people have posted pics etc on twitter so i doubt its that

It was being published by brady guides here so maybe something went wrong with that deal? Still they should let customers know, not just cancel your orders :/
 
Just asked my mate if he wants my PS3 and DS2 for a week while I'm away. He hasn't played the others but said he'd have tried it if he had a PS3.

So I'll feel better knowing my copy is at least getting some use. lol
 
I managed to bag a collectors edition in the end which is awesome, I want that figure! Annoyingly it come in stock after they processed my boggo version, but I'll send that back!
 
Have to love Amazons price guarentee on pre-orders. It's why I just order every game ever announced immediately just in case - if I change my mind I just cancel later on as it costs nothing.

The black edition one is cheaper than the standard game. £34 so not bad at all



Don't go for figures as I have Transformers figures everywhere in my house!! lol. I have 8 rooms but still no more space to put them. (obviously none in kitchen/living room like) but I had to start putting them in my cupboard at work and selling some on as I was sick of dusting them all!!
 
Think I'll pick up my copy at Midnight and then go home, go to sleep, get up tomorrow early, go for a 40 mile bike ride and then spend the rest of the day with the game - possibly with Pizza :D
 
My collectors edition is due for delivery in the next 30 mins by DPD, exciting times!

I'm in work tomorrow, but I've had my 3 days off confirmed for Monday-Wednesday, so I've got 5 days straight to hammer it. I doubt I'll have it finished by then, but I should be pretty far through it by the time I go back to work :D

Shopto... little gutted that we don;t get the black armour edition metal case in the collectors edition. I mean we get a metal case for the game, but it's not the same as the black armour editions I've seen.

The black armour edition steel case I've seen has an embossed cover, looks awesome, our metal case in here is just flat... doesn't even say Dark Souls on it actually. The black armour edition I saw was a US copy, but I'm sure it's the same here.

Either way, the figure is awesome, a lot bigger than I was expecting!
 
When Dark Souls came out, we had a separate thread for gameplay tips and spoilers, so we could keep it out of the main thread. Shall we go for the same thing again?

On another note, who here will be using their Black Armour Edition DLC? I'm debating it, cos I don't want to start out with stronger weapons/shields. Part of the charm is starting with naff weapons, and looting for better weapons.

I'm sure the Black Armour weapons aren't great, but they will still be an advantage surely?
 
I've pre-ordered the black edition but I might go with standard just because I don't want to make anything easier.
