NVIDIA Introduces New GeForce Game Bundles

BF4 runs beautifully for me on my 780s, no issues.

Seriously glad to hear that, the above was simply sarcasm, all you seem to read here is how bad/horrible BF4 is, a lot of them simply because of Mantle/AMD stamped on it.

There are bugs for some which is unfortunate, I'm under no illusions, but I keep hearing how bad it is all the time from the usual suspects all because it's an AMD title.

Because if a game is only £8 before its even released then its probably crap.

I love playing BF4, just as i did BF3 so i don't mind stumping up a large sum as i always get my moneys worth.

maybe they realised they need to compete with the members market for sales :D

I doubt games like thief sold many actual copies on the pc at retail prices

No the game is buggy and broken and little of its actually to do with the rendering side or even anything to do with AMD involvement theres some shockingly shoddy coding between the game design and game engine levels. I doubt there are many people talking the game down at all due to any level of association with AMD or Mantle.

Rendering wise even a single 780 plays it with full ultra settings pretty flawlessly with good smooth framerates let alone a 290 with mantle that is the least of the games issues.

I understand, maybe I came across a bit blunt - didn't mean to. Just wanted to clear up the fallacy that only AMD cards run BF4 well which a few people on here seem to imply.

Personally I really enjoy BF4, but I do see that quite a few are having issues with it - but sometimes I wonder whether those issues are brought on mostly by the user themselves...

EDIT - I'm not talking about server lag, network coding etc issues here by the way, I'm pretty sure everyone has experienced hit detection issues and such.

Lots of issues that aren't due to the user, with the latest patch the gunship can't damage targets on certain maps, killcams are broken, lots of little glitches like ads/zoom behaviour becoming inverted, people losing some or all sounds, kills not being recorded i.e. I got the roadkill points for killing someone with a vehicle last night but no actual kill message, no kill awards points and no increase in my scoreboard kill count and dozens more issues like that.

Sorry, I should've been more clear - I was talking about hardware/driver related issues; not game bugs/balance issues, server lag etc. :)

Neither company needs to incentivize right now, AMD are selling everything they make and Nvidia knows most of those cards are not going to gamers, plus they don't need to waste money when brand loyalists will stick with them.

Daylight looks promising and something I would play :)

Daylight is gorilla games and looks pretty good. My queue is massive now though so its behind titanfall, mgs, imfamous 3 and south park

Just tried Warface, look like a good FPS, but, i don't like the format.

Enter a round, Die, wait for the next round, sit staring at the screen twidling your thunbs... a few minuts later new round. your playing the game again, 30 seconds later the first time you die, wait again for the next round, staring at the screen board out of your skull.

Not not impressed with it so far. i can't be bothered with a few seconds gameplay and then staring at the screen for however long.

it is a completely different type of game if you are used to the BF/COD grindfest
if you like tactical shooters then it is a pretty good one, and being free you can just pick it up and drop it from time to time
