IR Extension for SKY+ HD box

Hi Guys I was wondering if you could help me.

I currently have a TV Stand with two sliding doors on the front.

On the one side I have my AV Reciever and my Playstation which I open the door to use to keep them cool and then slide shut after. Currently I have my Sky+ HD box on the other side but the issue I am having is that both doors cannot be open at the same time.

What I was looking for was a IR extender to put near the TV so that I can keep the door shut on the Sky box but I am unable to find one. All I want is a cable that plugs into the sky box with a IR reciever on that is tiny and unnoticable.

All i can find at the moment is some huge box ones.

I have a similar set up and just use a magic eye plugged into the RF2 socket , run it out the back of the unit and have the sensor hidden away outside, it works well.

How do you connect the magic eye?

Yeah RF2 socket, but you need to enable power to it by going into the sky installer menu. A quick google will tell you how.
