Titanfall (Respawn Entertainment's new IP)

Really loving the game at the moment, Im ok but useless when I get a titan lol.

I am getting some frame drops from 60 down to 40s every so often but other than that it runs great. I am looking into getting a better 120hz monitor though.
 
Happy to play with some of you lads here! I have absolutely no one in my friends list on Origin as I never use it!

So I just played for another 5 hours straight.

Enjoying it quite a bit, but the matchmaking is really letting the game down. I just played the campaign mode up to the big assault on Demeter by the militia and was on the losing team every round - whats that? 9 maps or so? Likewise in Attrition the result of the match is decided before it even starts :(

Such a shame, as some basic team shuffling code would not have been hard to put in the game at all.

Still no crashes or disconnects though, which is nice :)

Auto lock on OHK kick melee is still OP though, as is that stupid smart pistol! :p

OK I need to go and give my eyes a rest.........I feel like Blanka out of the Street Fighter movie!! lol :p
 
By the way......

Does anyone know if it is possible to enable the console in this game? If so how?

Also, is there a way for the game to draw my FPS as I am playing?

EDIT - found the answer - you add +cl_showfps 1 in the command line parameters box in game settings in Origin. Still no way to enable console though :(

No way for console or FPS unless you use fraps, but you can use -novid -noborder -windowed if you go to game properties. That will skip the intro and give you borderless mode. Easier to alt tab.
 
Also one thing I noticed which I think needs fixing it is that if you get into your titan and your pilot is out of ammo for his primary (ie carbine) when you exit titan you have to go through reloading animation which leaves you vulnerable. I have been killed a couple of times because of this.
 
Anyone figured out a Crossfire profile that works yet with some way to enable V Sync? I can't play this with all the damn tearing all over the place.
 
just had a epic team 6 wins in row with randoms :cool:

nice taking 4 titans on at once and ruining them all :p (have the big punch perk on )

From what I can gather both SLi and Crossfire profiles are broken and due to be fixed in the next patch (or so I have read).

Single card should fix your problems until they have sorted the problems.
 
I've obviously been living in a box for the past 2 years, I've managed to completely avoid all the hype / information / everything about this game.

Just seen a couple of videos and it looks pretty damn decent, much like one hit wonder Natalie Imbruglia I'm torn - to purchase or not to purchase?!
