Hello,

I have been checking a lot of pre built gaming rigs over the web. I now have decided to go for it and build my own as I believe I could save myself a bit of cash. I have never build my own pc before. I have bought and replaced parts that's about it. So I would like if someone could help me out with this parts list I have picked. Will it all fit nicely and are they all compatible. Also if anyone has a link to a good video or tutorial showing me how to build my own pc.

I need a monitor, keyboard and mouse to so if anyone knows of the best budget ones :)

Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (or Patriot Viper 3 8GB DDR3 2133)

Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5" Solid State Disk

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card (or AMD Radeon R9 270X)

Cooler Master 500W ATX Power Supply

Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Highlighted the parts I am unsure about.

Thank you

500GB SSD is a lot, I have a 250GB SSD which with all my games and Windows 8.1 still has 60% free.

Save some pennies and get a 280x and a 250GB SSD.

Building it yourself is great fun, check out Newegg "How to build a PC" it has 3 parts but go into a lot of detail. I swear by watching Carey Holzman on youtube, he goes into mega detail and the videos are nice and long!

ah that's brilliant ill be sure to watch his video's. I suppose that's a lot for what I will be using it for so the 250gb would be fine. Will the AMD Radeon R9 280X play battlefield 4 on high above 30fps ? My budget is roughly £800 - £950. Wanted the GTX 770 but its a bit pricey for me so would the AMD Radeon R9 280X be a better option and still have similar performance.

Sorry is the monitor keyboard and mouse within that budget?

I'd go for Ice's Intel build personally good value for money there.

A 280X should run BF4 on high at around 60-70fps I think, it's a very good GPU.

dunno what's your total budget...

Thank you a lot guy's some great builds here. Just have to choose one now. I see most of them with the TeamGroup Vulcan ram how is this compared to corsair or viper 3 ?

Don't know what to choose :(

Ok so my original option was to get the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB. Now I'm edging towards the Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X OC 3072MB or Sapphire TOXIC R9 280X Graphics card - 3 GB. What is the best out of these.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB

Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X OC 3072MB

Sapphire TOXIC R9 280X Graphics card - 3 GB

I have read a few reviews but can't get to the bottom to find out what card to buy. Also will they all fit into the case fine and be compatible.
