Any point in 4k yet when there isn't Gpu power for it?

Tempting but I'll probably hold out until prices drop a bit. 1920x1080 is a pathetically low resolution for a computer monitor and the sooner 4K kills it off the better.
I'm just ignoring that comment, no saving some people
Wouldn't call 1920x1080 pathetic but I've owned or own a number of monitors between 1920x1080 and 2560x1600 including 2048x1152 and 2560x1080 and I definitely prefer a bit bigger than 1920x1080 - in general though I find 2048x1152 more suited to desktop stuff than most other resolutions.
The problem is you need a £450+ GPU to push 4K at sub 60fps, it won't kill off 1080p until mainstream £150-200 GPUs will be able to push 4k at 30fps minimum.Ultimately, it pretty much is pathetic, when you consider the sort of pixel densities mobile devices are pushing now (400+ per inch), and yet computer monitors are still in the low100s. Even 4K at 30" is less than 150 pixels per inch.
For me, 2560x1440 at 27" isn't enough, I can and do see the pixels (as in jagged edges of pixels) very easily from around 60cm away.

Do you feel this samsungs 4k display will fix that jagged edges ?
There is GPU power for 4k.
Ok so which single Gpu can do solid 60fps ultra on bf4 at 4k?
