What the most souls anyone has lost so far in this? Lost 40,000 last night cos I kept getting invaded in the Bell Tower :D
 
Just came up against them 3 bosses in lost Bastille. Can kill the first one fine but then the 2 others seems chained together and keep gang banged!

They gave me hassle too, felt guilty as i eventually summoned someone for it but they were worse than me lol did it though!

Playing with a massive shield atm and quite enjoying it

Ive noticed they have changed the equipment load to movement speed

Think 70% load is max for mid rolling now whereas it used to be 50% so thats cool
 
I think the best way to get souls now is invade or engage in some jolly co-operation. Did that just now and got more souls then farming the level would.

Did not like the game at first but it does get a lot better :D
 
One thing Im fining is levelling is very quick, I'm already SL 107 and I've only killed 6 bosses.

I suppose this makes sense considering there are more stats to level for most builds.

Just managed them there I aswell had to summon someone who seems to know what he was doing so that was a plus, have to say though one of the most frustrating fights I've played in both Ds games!
 
Anyone else getting the PC version as well when released? I've not had time to play on PS3 yet, and tempted to hang about for the PC release instead.

Not really for the graphical improvements (I hope there is one) but for the modding potential, but more importantly, I can use my PS4 dual shock 4 pad on PC which will make things a whole lot more fun.

The DS4 is far more superior to the DS3 and I've been spoiled by that pad now.

You can use the DS4 on PS3 too. Works perfectly although it does have to be plugged in. Just buy a long Micro B cable on eBay if the length of the supplied cable is too short. I've double dipped, pre-order PC CE and will probably sell the PS3 version when it arrives.

I cant help feel sometimes theyve ran out of ideas and thought lets just cram loads of mobs into one room and let them gang you!

I'm aware the DS4 works fine on the PS3, works fine on XMB, but I get no control in Dark souls 2? The pad just don't respond in there? Does it work for you in dark souls 2?

Yup, flawlessly. Not sure why it wouldn't work. Have you got it plugged into the further left USB?

I lie, it does work. When I tested earlier I connected the pad whilst in game, although it worked on XMB then, it didn't in game. Start the game with the DS4 and all is good.

Clearly XMB allows multiple controllers connected, games do not.

Still think I'm gonna get it on PC though, and prob won't play the PS3 version, as that will ruin the experience on PC.
 
God it feels soooo much better with the DS4, I really love that pad, beats any other hands down.

I know I can't wait til late April, so gonna start playing on PS3 I think, DS4 makes it much better for me.
 
I'm loving this so far. It feels like a great mix between Demon and Dark Souls so far, and I'm really enjoying not knowing what I'm meant to be doing. Beat 3 bosses so far (The Last Giant, The Pursuer, and the Sentinels), and have helped several people beat the Pursuer. Looking forward to exploring everywhere over the next few days.

I want to use my ds4 but would need a much longer cable and dont quite trust the cheap ebay ones to hold the connection, may give it a shot though

I got a cheapo one of ebay and used it on my PC for hours upon hours and never dropped once. So I can vouch for them.

I got a 3ft one too, so quite long.
