Laptop advice (possibly gaming)

Currently I have a gaming PC, and a fat, heavy, giant Satellite laptop.

I need a new laptop for work as I commute to london and lugging this thing around is a pain simply because of the size. So I'm either looking at getting a cheapish (£300ish) ultrabook type deal thats nice and small, or something a lot pricier that I can also game with on the go, and sacrifice the want for the small form/weight.

I just need some advice really. I haven't looked much at the cheaper ultrabooks yet, but gaming laptop wise I was thinking of maybe an MSI GS70 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-122-MS&groupid=959&catid=1828) - very thin, weight isn't the issue, large screen so it's not small either but atleast its smaller than what I've got, and seems decent specs from what I've read up, or maybe a P34G (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-011-GI).

I looked at the Lenovo y510p aswell but I just really don't like the look of it and the fact I'd need to also buy a 2nd GFX card to make it decent.

*edit*Any other suggestions are welcome, they don't need to be really portable unless it's an ultrabook (using on the train etc, easy to carry). Gaming lappy I actually don't mind, the smallness of the GS70 is really nice, but if it means getting way more bang for my buck, I don't mind it's not an ultrathin laptop.

Also - While the gaming laptops are expensive, I was thinking it might be viable to say, drop £900 on a gaming laptop, and then a few months down the line if I feel I don't need/want it, or if 9 months down the line I want a change, I could sell it on via gumtree etc without much issue and retain the majority of what I spent? Thoughts? I wouldn't be averse to even spending £1500 if I knew I could get 1100/1200 back out of it a year away. Wishful thinking maybe.

I cant make any valid comment yet on this as I'm waiting for my MSI GS70 to arrive.
it will be the first laptop I've ever owned so my views on it may be a little one sided but ill let you know what it is like when I get it even though i have nothing to compare it too.

Oh nice! The GS70 does look so swanky. I was thinking of maybe the P35k instead but I'm not sure, or maybe the GX60 (fatter but better specs).

Hope you enjoy it!

The GS70 is a lovely machine been using mine for about a month now and it takes absolutely everything I've thrown at it without breaking a sweat and looks dam good while doing so.

The only thing that annoys me about it is to add or upgrade the RAM it's a case of having to completely strip the motherboard out of the chassis disconnecting loads of little fragile ribbon and pin connectors as they've hidden the slots on the side facing the keyboard
