*** Official Nintendo Wii U thread ***

My Blu-Ray player tv and cabinet are all black so it was the premium only for me.

I do buy a few digital and didn't want USB stuff hanging out the wii u.

Horses for courses, they both play games the same that's the important thing.

Agreed. That said if you do buy digital stuff check out the size before you do. Some games are 20gb+, do a few like that and you will have "USB stuff hanging out the wii u" in no time :p;):D

I buy digital copy games but only Indy games or VC games and the like, there's zero chance of any of my digital titles coming in at more than 1GB each - heck most of them are tiny. I need more than 8GB but I won't be filling 30GB any time soon.

I mean seriously - who the hell wants a 10-20GB game stuck on their HD you'll pay £40 or £50 for that you can never sell?

True, but some do, certainly not me. Only game that is digital I may want is that fast racing neo :D

I just caved in.

Managed to get a Wii U 32GB with Black op's 2, New Super Mario U, Zombie U and DK Tropical freeze for £220 second hand. :D.

Oh and a pro controller.

Wow, all that £220? That is a great deal you got there. Sure you never had a gun to the guys head? :p

You are for a lot of fun my friend. Let us know how you get on.

Will do, I've always bought Nintendo consoles on release but didn't for the Wii u, got a bit tired of saving so decided to get one.

Now the problem is, there's about 4 games I want and many others being released this year :D.

I've not had much of a chance to get to my Wii U recently, but still slogging through Lego City. Bits of it I find a little tedious, but still a good game overall, I'm not really all that far in as well (IIRC the game says I've completed around 7%), so I've got no hold back in believing it gets better :)

£15 Wiimotes will certainly let you know who your friends are huh.

I've got two Wiimotes atm but I'd happily trample on children for a couple more at that sort of price.
