What's your news source of choice?

I hate the Guardian so Labour biased it makes me sick!

It's not labour bias its center/left bias. Both party's swing to the right since new labour.

BBC news has gone down the pan in last year, the non live news item on RT are thought provoking at least.

FT is ok i guess.

Every news outlet is biased. This is why you should always read/watch more then one.

BBC - pro west
RT - pro east
Sky - pro west
Al Jazeera - pro east
CNN/Fox - pro USA
etc etc

I also love the fact he's bothered posting in this thread. Bit like asking what cars people have and taking the time to say you don't have one. Not really too useful is it!

And yes, I think the news is extremely interesting unless you live in a cave.

Well all news sites have their biases. Although I would say that the Guardian is more left and anti-establishment rather than pro labour. Your news sources (Daily Mail and Telegraph) are biased to the right and pro-establishment.

Left and right isn't important to me though, I just admire the Guardian for reporting on and investigating serious issues such as mass surveillance (which the Telegraph and Daily Mail ignore).

bit of everything often the app on the mobile. the news these days is just heap entertainment so i dont relaly put that much weight behind any of it.

I don't have any. If there are any noteworthy headlines on google news that have taken my interest, I go straight to a press wire, without any political slant or retarded comments.

I'm subscribed to The Times as that's probably the most neutral of all papers. Then again, no news outlet is truly fully neutral. The only thing I don't like about The Times is that they use Times New Roman font :p but I can override that to Arial in the browser.

Occasionally I'll read the Daily Fail for right wing / comedy value, the Guardian for the left wingers. I'm not that PC, so a bit of Daily Mash and The Onion is all good too :-) Reminder to myself - must check out Private Eye too.

I read BBC News site a lot as well. However, I find that they tend to post "junk food news", almost as bad as the tabloids - celebrities/showbiz, sex scandals, latest crazes like the Obama doing a "selfie" (is that even news?), and statistics that constantly change like unemployment rises to 2M, unemployment now drops to 1.4M, oh noes unemployment rises back to 2M again, rinse, repeat.

Worse news outlet has got to be the Daily Express. Heatwaves, droughts, gale-force winds, 38 feet of snow (ok slight exaggeration there lol), cancer cures, RSI cures, obesity cures, more snow, tornadoes, rain every day for the next 7 years... and of course the obligatory Princess Diana corner. (even though I am a big fan of hers)

The Guardian for my news. I consider myself left wing so I tend to agree with the slant of most of their articles and I enjoy a lot of their opinion pieces.

I also read The Telegraph daily but find the comment section at the end of most pieces full of trolls and tripe which is often more vicious, against any perceived left wing biased agenda in life/anywhere/in their head, than the Mail. I much preferred The Times before it went to subscription only.

Ignoring my political beliefs; I do believe that the Guardian, despite some of the dismissive bad press it can get by many posters here, is by far the best paper for journalism, objectivity and debate (although even I find some of the more feminist articles too much).

I will read the BBC but find it rather bland at the moment!

I do not read the Mail as it just makes me irritated. It is sloppily written, populist and full of lazy journalism. An exception is however made for a quick update on how Kim Kardashian’s backside is looking at certain times in her life.

+1 Tea leaves and goat entrails.

Mine mostly coming from BBC and trending FB links, sad yet true,
