3-4 Titans firing everything they have got at it.... lots of fun :D

Only managed a couple of rounds since getting this on launch. Only played one non beta map as well (:o) which was fun... havn't played it since the beta and dropped into a map I have never seen before against players who are already above rank 25.... Lots of fun but I didn't have a clue what was going on or where to go.

Second map was Fracture... oooo yeah, Titan domination!

Hopefully I will be able to play a lot more of this over the next week or so.
 
I've played this quite a lot over the weekend, I'm loving it.

There's no feeling quite like being ejected from your titan, landing on the enemy titan that blew you up and finishing the job.

So many cool features to this game.

I'm not sure it will have much longevity but for now I'm loving it.

Couple of lads were talking about in a party yesterday, I never tried it myself usually just fire all I have with my titan.
 
Best way to destroy drop ship is unload ordnance take out as much of shield as you can and nuclear eject underneath.
 
yep, played most of the weekend :D
the multiplayer campaign is really just a training setup to get you ready for the MP side of the game
played capture the flag and pilot hunter mostly, its very addictive :D:D

Can't catch a break tonight! It just seems like everything goes against me. Archer rockets hitting walls, not getting the drop on anyone. Hell once last round I spawned in front of an active enemy turret.

Last round of attrition I got 0 pilot kills and 2 titan. My average pilot k/d is 1.3 though so I am not THAT bad!
 
Yea ya need a team of ya, not even co-ordinating as much, just on the same page at least.
Trying playing with randoms and its pretty difficult to get into a winning streak!

No doubt you'll inevitably pick up an XO1 anyway, definetly worth picking up :p

Anyone else leveling as fast as possible?

Am currently pacing through pretty well by doing as many challenges as possible and maxing out all challenges on a single weapon before moving on.

The Anti-Titan weapons are easy to max (10 Titan kills) and simply cycling through them when challenges are maxed doesn't take too long, the Weapon ones are a little trickier with grunt (200)/spectre(100) kills taking a little longer.

Into my second regeneration and level 34 still using my first weapon (carbine - this thing is insanely good!)

In this generation have picked up the satchel charges, they are a lot of fun! Being chased? Spin around and stick a charge down, wait 2 seconds and KABOOM :p

Yep, everything resets.
Only thing that is maintained is your lifetime stats (games played, weapon accuracy, kills etc etc).
If you've completed the campaigns though, you keep the 2 additional Titans (Ogre/Stryder).

You get a badge next to your name to reflect your generation (G2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10), plus an XP boost. G2 is 110%, G3 120% etc.
 
Am I the only one who isn't blown away by this? I find myself getting bored after an hour or so, it could be something to do with the 5 hour breaks between rounds :p
 
It could do with shortening those times between rounds, though for some bloody reason its only in the last 10 secs I decide to try a different load out!

But I am enjoying it overall, capture the flag and Hard point are better modes of playing it though.

Do you get anything for going through this other than a badge next to your name?

I wouldn't say I'm 'blown away' but I'm really enjoying it. What I am sick of is doing well on a team yet losing because the randoms are crap. Though that's the same in every bloody MP game.
 
I'm not blown away by it either, I enjoy the mindless action that it's got, but there just isn't enough pilots to kill, I always only seem to see grunts.

I also don't like the massive amount of time between rounds.

It's quite annoying.
