What do you think of this Jaguar XF?

Yeah, noticed the tow bar.

Speaking more generally on these, I gather that parking sensors are pretty much a requirement.

I called about the car above, Stratstone only give a 3 month warranty, so its not quite manufacturer approved.

Personally I would get a portfolio instead but if price is too high then a premium luxury at the least.

I have a 10-plate XF S Premium Luxury, bought last July with pretty much the same miles, and paid just under £18k.
Price-wise, it seems quite decent, mind....

For me, I wanted the Premium Luxury/Portfolio spec, as well as the S engine variant. Can't recall exactly what the differences between Lux and P Lux are, but notably better audio and better seats are amongst them. Does this one have the rear camera - that is arguably the most important 'extra' that you will need, as rear visibility for parking is Meh without it!

As others have said, the halogen headlights are not great - I have some Bosch Plus 90 bulbs in and it has made quite a difference, but......there are not many with Xenons, pre-facelift :(

I'm struggling to find one with xenons unless I go post facelift and then I can only stretch to the 2.2d which seems a sacrifice too far.

Quite a few PLs don't have front parking sensors or the rear camera which seems miserly.

The wood in that is hideous, its like varnished rough cut balsa...

The PL on a car of that age has over the Luxury

Keyless entry as well as start
Better leather
Much better stereo

I'd personally not buy one without the Xenons or parking pack, the lack of Xenons was the reason for getting rid of my 1st car as they are useless without them...Portfolio has Xenons as standard

Dodgy as hell.

Why is a Jaguar dealer selling that not as a approved used Jag with a proper warranty?

Sounds like there is something wrong with it or it's not at a decent standard so flogging.

Also heat kills transmissions so I wouldn't really get one with a tow bar. I'd check the fluid has been changed as ZF classify towing as an extreme environment.

Also never buy a car from Birmingham.

Probably not approved as it is just over 60k miles?

Camera was not standard on any variant, from what I understand.
As for seats, with a PL you may get heated & cooled sports seats, with a load more adjustments, too. Was notable on my 10-reg PL, against several L models I looked at.

I started off with the requirement for S engine variant, then looked for PL or Portfolio. Have to say, I haven't looked back - Xenons would be perfection, but otherwise find the car to be simply brilliant.

The S variant from MY11 on has sports interior as standard. It was an option on the MY10 cars.

Camera is part of the parking pack which includes the front sensors.

Has anyone tried the 2.2d? There's a facelift one nearby for under 20k with plenty of spec, not sure it's worth sacrificing the 3.0d for the facelift version. It's the 200hp version.

My Dad has one and whilst its not as quick or smooth as the 3.0 its pretty decent. Its got enough go and when moving its pretty much silent. He gets good MPG out of it and the 8 speed box is well suited to it.

You sure it the 200BHP version as that only appeared in the MY13+ cars?
