Cat without being personal I did have a disagrement with broomstick back on the kaveri thread ages ago due to the gpu performance, he did also promote the intel dual core haswell vs amd gaming situation too in another type of thread.
He's welcome to his own opinons, but I think he's just having fun with his sweeping statements. Although he may be rubbing people up the wrong way.
Every time you troll from now Cat I'll just report you. No point replying to you. You just come across as some kind of bitter fan boy, that can't tolerate anybody Else's opinion that isn't pro AMD everything. GPU's APU's are ok, but the AMD CPU is really weak and behind. They need an update, I would like to see an competitive AMD again. This obviously bothers you and you feel the need to troll because of it, but this is your issue not mine.
Yeah we all have different opinions, and have a lil fun with some of our posts but it's not serious. There's no need to ever get personal about it. Cat always seems to take things personal and then makes posts that are based on his own opinions of peoples intent when posting. 'Projecting' I think they call it
I just won't reply to him anyway. I'll be smashing up that report button instead.
Look in the mirror. It seems as long as you own something it is the best brand and best product and everything else is OFC inferior. Plenty of people have countered what you said in the past, and you just keep on ignoring and making the same sweeping generalisations on every subforum you post on. You ignore them so you can keep making them.
Hide behind the mods as much as you want, and I am sure they will delete this and the mods will infract me but it needs to be said,as other people are a bit too worried to do so. Anyway it also means you can keep ignoring what anyone has to say and go "la!la!la!la!".
PS:
Again.
Why did you ignore, the Core i3 and low end Core i5 CPUs in this post:

Boomstick777 said:I imagine they will be fully unlocked, so as far as the volts and mobo will allows. 5.0Ghz Pentium anyone? Sad thing is an overclocked Pentium would smoke all of AMD's 'High end desktop' chips.. Plz start being competitive AMD..
Plus,in one thread in the GPU section:

The compute performance is back with a vengeance, along with mining performance / gaming performance and extreme low power use. Maxwell is looking like a beast of an architecture. All that performance and only 640 cores. AMD need to pray Nvidia don't release a 3000 shader core part on 20nm. God only knows how much power AMD would need to use to match the performance.
Nvidia are about to release the Kraken I tells ya
I'll say it now, the GTX 880 is going to wipe the floor with anything AMD have coming. Quote me on this in Q4 when the cards are out![]()
Boomstick777 said:No need to get serious bumhug, just having a bit of fun. Dripping with Egg Yoke, I have no idea what you mean you weirdo, anyway Maxwell is poised is to be a great arch. Nvidia went light last time with the first round of Kepler cards. If they release a full fat Maxwell part from the get go on 20nm. AMD could be in trouble given they have to stick with GCN, hot/power hungry.. While Nvidia Maxwell architecture's performance per watt is phenomenal.
My prediction is the GTX 880 will be the return of Nvidia having a genuine big lead over AMD. You heard it here first
Can quote me in Q4, Maxwell destroying whatever GCN cards come next.. Even a washed out Mantle API won't help em

Boomstick777 said:It's gonna happen. Nvidia gonna curb stomp all over AMD this upcoming gen. I look forward to seeing bumhug eat his pessimistic words in Q4
I think even enabling 'washed out' mode or 'Mantle' whatever it's called, won't give AMD any extra fps. Nvidia will have such domination in DirectX![]()
Boomstick777 said:You wasted your money bumhug, Maxwell 20nm will pwn AMD. It'll be so far ahead they will probably use the mid-range cards to compete with AMD's high end again..
Should use those eggs to throw at Roy Taylor..
See,every post about AMD comes with a sleight. You sound exactly like some of the posters over on Anandtech.
Again explain,to "fanboi you call me" who owns a Xeon E3 1220 and a GTX660.
So that is BOTH AMD CPUs and GPUs which will be destroyed. You seem almost happy in both. HMM.
The difference is that many of us are happy to promote either companies products, depending on what people want. However, you seem firmly in the Intel and Nvidia camp. Interesting.
