Its time to replace my current company car and I have been given a list by fleet manager and am not 100% sure what to pick. Just for reference my current car is a 2010 Focus Zetec 1.6 TDCI.

The list is as follows:

Ford Focus Titanium Nav 2.0 TDCI 140PS
Ford Mondeo Titanium X Bus Ed 2.0 TDCI 140PS
Vauxhall Astra Tech-line GT 2.0 CDTI 165PS
Vauxhall Insignia Tech-line 2.0 CDTI 140PS
Vauxhall Insignia VxLine 2.0 CDTI 140PS
Peugeot 308 Feline 1.6 THP 156PS
Peugeot 308 Feline 2.0 BlueHDI 140PS
Peugeot 508 Allure 2.0 HDI 163PS

As you can see quite a lot to choose from and the tax on them is not all that different. They all seem pretty practical which is needed as I have a toddler and maybe another sprog in the near future. Currently doing about 15-20k a year traveling to our London/Birmingham/Manchester offices a couple of times a week.

Your opinion on what you would pick and why would be greatly appreciated.

I quite like the 508, think that'd be what i'd take as a co car from that list - no particular reason other than I had one as a hire car and thought it was a perfectly nice place to be.

Mondeo's are fine too, as are astra's. I don't personally like the mk3 focus and am not an insignia fan, though the latest facelift makes them look a bit nicer outside.

I'd always take the larger car though

Either the Mondeo or the 508. Drive both and see what you prefer.
I'd be tempted with the Peugeot because it's more powerful, but only if it also has the same or better spec than the Mondeo.

If it was my money, it would be the Mondeo for sure. But as it's a company car, I would be split between that and the 508. I really am not a fan of Vauxhalls. But then again, it is a company car, so not your money.

Although, I have just had a look at the 508 and it is ugly as sin, it might actually be a reasonably nice place to sit for 20k a year.

As said above, try to drive any you shortlist first.

Mondeo Titanium X :)

No balls on it, I had one for 6 months and it was gutless :/

I thought these 2 had the same power & the Focus being smaller would be better, Why am I wrong ?

Just interested as I know nowt about new cars. :)

+2 Id also like to know how can the Modeo with what looks like the same engine have more balls than the Focus?

Not that I'd get either but am still interested.

I'd much, much rather have the Mondeo than the Focus. I don't particularly rate the mk3 Focus, and you're going to get more comfort and equipment and space for a really, really slight trade-off in performance, which isn't really relevant for a company car. :p

Vauxhall Astra GT 165, an extra 25BHP over the others and would be smoother to drive. Nice too the new models. The Mondeo is a better car but heavier and slower. Id want the one with the most power.

Really? You would pick your company car based on what had the most power?

For the mileage and the choice I'd be looking at what had the most toys, was the most comfortable and what was most suited to the journey and OP.

The Astra GT is 3 door as well I think, which would be a right pain with a toddler and potentially another on the way in the future.

It's gotta be the Mondeo really.
