Titanfall (Respawn Entertainment's new IP)

haha :p

thinking like a sim player this game is 3d mannnnn :D

the whole jumping around and so many ways to attack bring in a lot of varied gameplay.

guy in near a point you got to capture for eg normal fps in that door or that entrance. in this through window through roof bounce of wall . a lot better and varied.

Bought this last night for 599 Pesos. Had a very strange experience with Origin.. considering I have 40Mb internet... it downloaded Titanfall at 17MB/s (yes, megabytes) and was done within 2 hours. I'm not complaining!

I have 8Mb and was downloading at about 40Mb. I wonder if the data is compressed?

Holy ... you can get a lot of experience in one game, mostly from challenges though:

I think I went from 17 to 21 in that game alone =/

Hah! Mega XP match. What were the challenges? Even if a lot of the XP was for challenges, I think 22 pilot kills is still pretty respectable at level 17. Well played.

I think you will find as you get up the ranks you wont be getting those kind of scores unless you are actively trying to complete challenges. I have never bothered, I just play and if I complete a challenge it's a bonus. I am getting close to level 50 now though, so I might have to start completing specific challenges soon if I regenerate.

At the moment I am getting anywhere from 5,000XP - 15,000XP per match, depending on if I have had a good game and/or completed any challenges. I have no idea if that is good or bad though :p

think about 10,000-15,000 for normal games if do well and a couple challenges is normal had quite a few upto 30,000.

a lot does depend on what game types you play.

some score a lot more than others. also 20 plus pilot kills in cfg is just a decent game in attrition a good rate is like 10-15. shorter in time play.

I am mainly playing Hardpoint at the moment. I tend to hold points quite well, but it usually does not equate to many pilot kills - I may only get 10 pilot kills all match, some it is more. Mainly though, the kills I do get are by successfully defending the Hardpoint, which helps the team win.

Never thought I would like Hardpoint, but having played it in some good teams now, I really like the teamplay aspect of it.

BTW. What is cfg mode? Heard it mentioned a couple of times now and cant work it out :o

Unfortunately the last game summary page only shows 6 challenges, even though I completed 8 in that game. The 6 it shows are all for the R-101C Carbine related; kill 75 pilots, kill 200 enemies, 50 headshots, kill 25 spectres, use r-101c for 1 hour, kill 100 grunts

Guess I was just lucky timing that they all completed during the same game. I don't even look at the challenges, I just run around and shoot people!

just capture a b c .

hardpoint lows can just sit on a point whole game and win lol :D

What are hardpoint lows? I'm guessing that's me? :p

Pretty much I help capture points at start then pick a point to defend. 2 dead man switch satchels where enemies are likely to be and then even if I die I usually kill them.

Going to start working on attacking now though. Defending points is a bit easy. Coming top of team every map with the above technique, even with gen 2 / 3 pilots on enemy team.

Starting to feel a bit lame now! :p

So tomorrow is attack day! :D
