Nexus 5 on 3 losing data connection

Not sure if it's voice as well. But seemingly randomly, about 4 times a week my phone will display full reception but no data icon. I have to put it into aeroplane mode and take it out again and it'll pick it back up. Any ideas?
 
Had this happen with my Nexus 4 a couple of times this week!!...

Possibly 3 Having a few problems again!
 
Had this a few times in the past 10 days or so on my N5 on Three.

Full bars and H icon showing, but no network available when I tried to make a call.
 
Have this on my nexus 5 and 3. Have to go into aeroplane mode and out of it to kick start the internet on 3g.

Never had this with t mobile on nexus 5!

Nexus 5 is stock and latest software Btw
 
This happens on all phones, it's a network thing. Overloaded cells usually cause it, unless it's really really common I wouldn't worry too much. Many networks are upgrading to 4G as I'm sure you're aware and the downtime to upgrade cell X causes higher load on Y etc...
 
I've been having similar problems in recent days too. (LG G2)

Full bars and H icon showing but can't load websites. Turning mobile data off & on again gets it going again. Can still receive texts when this happens though.

Glad to hear others are having issues, it must be related to the 4g rollout. It's not just because I've tinkered with something I shouldn't have!

since posting this on the 22nd March ive not had any issues since!
