"RadeonPro" AMD's version of Shadow play "soon"

From his twitter :D
Performance hit of RadeonPro infinity movie recording in Thief benchmark is about 5% while using @AMDRadeon VCE - H.264 High@60 FPS/50Mbps

Where is RadeonPro infinity? a year in the making and no news on it for months.

:D

Just downloading BF4 again as I got a fresh win8 license and the PSU that was RMA'd. Got 14.2's already installed and waiting.

Yeah but thing is its a big program for just a single guy. He has to test each setting etc. Am happy to wait more he gets thing right the better for us guys.

:D

I feel he's trying to do to much in one go. he should just renew it and do what he can, release it and then work on revisions with new features.

Quite awesome, isn't it? Here's some performance figures at current optimization stage for recording at 60 FPS/1080p full frame/50 Mbps target bitrate. The performance drop at 30 FPS is a bit lower.

DX9 games: 1~5%
DX10+ games: 0~5%

Those are numbers from several automated benchmarks (Thief, Bioshock Infinite, Street Figther IV, Resident Evil 6, Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution etc.), in practice - while gaming - the hit is almost unnoticeable thanks to AFbC (Advanced Framebuffer Capture), a new technique developed for RadeonPro infinity to extremely reduce the performance hit seen in previous RadeonPro builds and some game capture softwares as well.

I've uploaded a Street Fighter IV benchmark video on Youtube showcasing AFbC:

A comparison between a normal benchmark run and another run recorded by RadeonPro results in a performance loss of just 2%. F1 2013 internal benchmark shows no drop in performance at all, in fact the result while recording the benchmark was 1 FPS higher - inside the error margin.
