Just a quick one really,

How do I set payment methods to cash on collection, bank transfer, cheque etc but NOT paypal?

It lets me select all the options I want but going onto the next page it sends me back and tells me to add paypal as a method?

Anyway around this?

Cheers

i sold somthing on ebay (auction) at 3pm today, i specifically said in the advert that i require prompt payment at the end of the auction so i can get it posted today,
the winner bid on the item with a couple of minutes to go, did he pay? no! :(
there some real tards on there, i think im going to relist it and tell him to do one.. time wasting nub :(

rant over, you can have your thread back now :)

That's a bit harsh, maybe he isn't in a rush to get it?

1 day auction as im away for a while. needed to get to the post office today like i said

maybe you glossed over this bit?...

Glossed over this bit? No I read it perfectly fine thanks. All that does is imply you needed payment by a certain time so that you could get to the post office before it closed to post it today, nothing about only having today to post it.

In that case you should have set it to require immediate payment:

I guess you glossed over that bit though, too much hard work researching easier to just put it in the listing

you didnt research what you decided to quote me did you? ;)

Paypal have introduced a new feature where you buy now, recieve the goods and THEN pay if you are satisfied.

Scammers love it.

Ebay sucks.

What are you on about now? If you didnt want to put a BIN and use the immediate payment option then that is your fault not the buyer's as they then don't have to pay straight away, regardless of what you put in the listing. Totally OTT saying you are gona relist and just ignore the buyer.

i told you in my first post that i sold via auction, with the instruction to pay promptly so i could post it today,
now, if you saw an advert for somthing you wanted to buy and it had that instruction would you bid/win it and pay 'when you saw fit' or would you pay at the end of the auction as asked in the advert??

and no, i didnt want to/ nor had a buy it now price, so your getting a bit off topic there

EDIT: making a sale via BIN = 3 day minimum listing, and i needed a 24hr sale, auction was the only way to go
