can my laptop play eve online?

My laptop is good for what i use it for, but is it good enough to play Eve online?

HP 255 G1 Laptop
- AMD E2-1800 1.7GHz
- 4GB RAM + 500GB HDD
- 15.6" + AMD HD7340

I can run it on my old asus laptop
i7 720

4GB RAM

Should be ok on low settings I'd have thought. Trial is free so easy to find out

Yes. i know people that run like 2-3 clients on super low settings (at crap fps but it runs) on lesser spec laptops.
My only question would be why would you want to play eve online. and that's coming from some one that's been playing for 8 years.

My son would be playing it while off at uni (sometimes).

yes but avoid fleet battles or missions with expensive ships or you might not be happy when you lag and die

running everything on low beans and it should be fine

just don't get into a busy area xD

I used to run EvE on my old ibm thinkpad x60 laptop... now that thing was like 1.9 celeron cpu 4gb ram (i upgraded lol) and got only knows what onboard intel graphics... like g945 or something?

I'd only use it onl my laptop when I was gaming on my pc and just *cough*not autohotkeys*cough* mining a field of asteroids xD which I quickly gave up on doing anyways as my ship was so pants it wasn't even worth the time I wasn't sat infront of it haha!
