Doesn't that strengthen the comparison when you consider the "sexed up" op, as fitting to the boards of stormfront? (given that it isn't really a problem)

And when you take into the reference the daily or at least weekly "Muslim" threads we have the pleasure of viewing I think the comparison is fair don't you think (from a forum that has a dubious history in such matters, and continues to attract such members)

You forget to mention a percentage also agree with the OP, in fact a rather large one. Further more it's pretty much (as usual) manifested itself into an all out assault, and if I remember correctly Islam being compared to Locusts

I think your downplaying occasional, occasional would be once in a blue moon. Weekly at the very least, is more like frequently rather than occasionally. One just has to read some of the comments in this thread to see they are fitting for such forums. I think it is also fair to point out we have an unusual amount threads on said topic in comparison to other boards. Not to mention a very public history of such.

So what? What exactly do you want, Islam only mentioned in polite and reverential terms? The comparison to Stormfront is unwarranted and inaccurate, why not just admit you were wrong?

Sorry that you think that the news is "inflammatory". Perhaps we should only allow articles about fluffy kittens doing something funny or babies being cute. The usual suspects who called me silly have ended up with egg on their faces because as the more considered posters have pointed out to them, this is a significant change to the UK legal system.

This is nothing to do with being against Islam btw, it's about being unhappy that a religious legal system is being recognised in UK law that discriminates against women and promotes faith based bigotry.

How about just the basics, fair, balanced, and unbiased. Is that too much to ask? Is it too much too ask people not push their political motivated agendas on to the GD of a computer based forum?

That's the problem right there, we've come to a stage where it is so frequent we take it is normal and proportional. You may be surprised to know most other boards are not like this. A weekly Muslim thread is not normal, inflammatory posting styles are not normal, OCUK reputation is not normal, OCUKs history is not normal.

No - it is not a significant change to the UK legal system at all. The UK legal system remains the same, but courts will now uphold decisions made in arbitration but only if they are legal under existing laws.

I didn't really see the point in posting link after link to non racist posts on OCUK as I thought it was blindingly obvious. It seems I was wrong.

Every post on Stormfront is racist, racially motivated, anti-Islamic etc. Very few posts on OCUK are. Therefore your comparison is just flat out wrong. But not entirely unexpected as you would probably prefer no criticism at all of Islam despite its many flaws.
