A few Xbox one games HALF price this weekend

This maybe of interest to some xbox one owners..

Xbox One versions of Thief and Tomb Raider will be available for half price this weekend via the Xbox Games Store, Microsoft has announced.

The hefty discounts will see the recently-released titles reduced from £49.99 to £24.99 for Thief and from £44.99 to £22.49 for Tomb Raider.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will see a third cut from its £54.99 price tag, Major Nelson confirmed. The sale prices will go live on Friday and last until Sunday.

That's the sort of price that would make me buy digital downloads. For £50 I'd be wanting a physical copy hand delivered to my door by the Publishers, signed by the developers and installed by an MS minion.

Decent price, even better when £50 xbox credit costs just over £40. Shame I've already played through Tomb raider on xbox 360. Not really tempted by Thief though.

Still way glad I'm playing both even for full price on PS4. Framerate and res won me over and still way happy to pay twice this price. Wouldn't buy an inferior copy for 5p because I'd want the best version for £49.99 sadly. I'm not rich but not poor for sure so I can make this choice without wishing I'd saved money.

US psn has both these games half price as well, so hopefully UK psn follows.. tomb raider on ps4 imo was every bit as good as my high end laptop , looked and performed fantastically...

Tomb Raider is a really good game. Even having completed it on PC I considered buying it for next gen console. But then Sony released it on PS+ for PS3 so that's put me off now as I've been playing it again on that.

If you don't have a PS3 with PS+ then that's a great price. Also who cares if it runs at 30FPS. If I was buying it I'd get it for Xbone. The lighting in my opinion is slightly better and yes I do own both consoles.
