Constant Steam account login woes

Is it just me, just about every day there are times when i cannot log into Steam at all, usually i get some error message but tonight the steam login window just hangs on my Desktop forever.

I would ask on Steam forums but guess what, longing in through the browser is exactly the same, it just sits there saying its longing in while never actually longing in.

Steam seems to be off line more than on these days.
 
sometimes I get where i'll get a could not connect to steam box just close it and reconnect straight away think it's just a case of many people logging in at once
 
Its not just you Steam is going down almost daily now due to these Steam trading cards being traded in a big way by trading bots & or people with 100's of accounts to microtransact those pennies into millions :rolleyes:

Valve should stop the trading cards for now & create a seperate store for them its ruining Steam very quickly :eek:
 
Since the start of the year I have had issues logging in. Upon launching steam it almost ALWAYS fails with a message stating if my internet connection is down and would I like to run in Offline mode. Running steam a second time see's me login just fine.

It is very annoying and un-nerving too so it is lucky I haven't been using steam much since the start of the year.

I said this in another post but, you are not alone there mate sometimes for me it even takes 3 attempts to log in
 
I've been getting more failed login attempts over the last couple of months than the last few years.

I'm also getting a message every time I load steam now that it's updating my user configuration... I wish it would just do it and be done with it!

Is there really that much of a problem with the trading cards? I've sold all of mine for a few pennies here and there, they're junk as far as I can see.
