Our C8 is going to be needing some rubber in the next month or so and i'm after a few suggestions.

Size is 215/60/16, expecting to spend around the £80-£100 mark per corner (delivered, i get them fitted for nothing)

Looked at uniroyal rain expert (surprisingly cheap but worse in the wet than conti stuff) and continental pc5 & eco-contact which seem to have a good rating.

PC5 look nice, but uniroyals appeal to my pocket ;)

^^scrub that, was looking at the wrong size, PC5 are only a tenner more than the uniroyals, that's that sorted then :D

/thread!

I have had pc5 and Uniroyal rs2 on my Volvo, but the rs3 is out now, so id go conti or rs3 i think.

The rain expert is the budget version of the rainsport so would probably avoid on a larger car.

Also the coni eco contact 5 seems to be the budget of the conti range, sport contact being the more racy model, so the premium contact 5 is probably the one to go for, at least that's the conclusion i came to when replacing two of my rainsport 2's.

I had some Rainexperts put on about 10 months ago now, the car hasn't done a lot of miles since then, only 5000 or so and the grip has dropped off quite a bit, get noticeable understeer compared to the Kumhos I had before. They were great in the wet though while they were 'in the zone'.

Right, just going to order a couple of the conti pc5, looking at £182 from camskill, £191 from blackcircles.

What other online places are there?
