I'm Looking for a shooting game to play.
need to be able to upgrade weapons and armours
the only game ive enjoyed so far has been the mass effect series
i've played boarderland 2 ( it was not as good as i was hoping), Ive never played battlefield, ive only played call of duty mw3

Blacklight Retribution, has the weapon/armour customization and its F2P.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is good, even if it was just for the co-op terrorist mode.

APB Reloaded?

Shame when you buy it on steam and try and play it with friends you get the sound loop >< damn waste of money as its a complete game breaker.

I am glad I didn't get it on steam then XD

on another note you can try titanfall, no Armour customization but some weapon customisation involved.

I thought it was the game in general, i can still play it solo but if i join a game i get a sound loop of a gun firing, apparently the host of the game doesn't get it but the people that joing do.

I just want to play it :(

Haven't played the first for a long time.

The last however, give it a miss for 6 months then maybe reconsider. You can't really upgrade the weapons/armour in the way you're thinking.

Planetside 2? Free to play MMOFPS, you earn certification points like XP and then spend them to unlock weapons or customise the load out of your character (body armour, weapon attachments, grenades, c4, mines etc)

Would say thats a good shout and free as well. Looks pretty too

I'm going to be recommend a game I played towards end of last year and thoroughly enjoyed... SINGULARITY.

Sci-Fi themed first-person-shooter. Ticked most of the boxes for me. Good plot, pretty decent visuals, original and innovative game mechanics.

Not a very well known game, but definitely worth a look.

Not a bug that everyone gets, I still play R6V2 a lot and it happens once in a blue moon, for me at lest.

I know the host of games doesn't get it, me and my 2 other friends bought it and we found its only the host that doesn't get the sound loop but the other 2 do get it, i bought the game on steam but i can't see that being the problem behind it, i just assumed it was the game in general.
