This is going to become a GameWorks title soon with Nvidia HBAO+TXAA being added sometime in the future. Will be interesting to see what effect that has on these results.

Interesting to see the 4gb 680 out performing the 2gb 770 at 1080P.

The 290x that far ahead surprises me... Honestly I thought the Nvidia cards would be better for it since they released that driver for it before release and are now partnering up with Nvidia for Gameworks and 4k.

If it reduces performance for AMD users i would think there will be hell on, they will all notice it and it will get banded around as yet another broken EA / Frostbite 3 game.

Doubt anyone would make such a silly mistake, considering it's using the source engine :o
Also, this game is capped @60fps, so the AMD lead isn't noticed or needed.

I think the most interesting part is the need of 2gb vram. Gameworks will not gonna affect the performance at all txaa is only nvidia and almost useless because you can just use msaa and hbao+ run just fine on amd gpus last time that i check on black flag

AC; Black Flag Is very slow on AMD GPU's compared to NV, you have to have a more expensive GPU just to get decent performance.

Is Titanfall decent? Wouldn't minding getting it but seems to have lots of hype around it and is rather expensive so don't want to buy it, then find out it isn't worth it.

I played the Beta, its not a bad game, personally i prefer BF4 but then again i havent played the full game, its on my list, but i'm going to wait to see what the Nvidia Games Works stamp does to the performance of the game for AMD users, i'm not intrested if i have to play it at 35 FPS where i should be getting 60.

You run a 7870 lol, you wont be getting 60fps unless you turn settings down. Nothing to do with Nvidia, it's because your card is now old and getting older ;)

How's your 780 fund going btw?

I think i will wait and see what happens to the performance after its got the Games Works stamp on it.

BTW, its a Tahiti LE, I run BF4 in Ultra. Minus MSAA with very good FPS

I have 7970 trifire and 780 three way. I am locked to 60 fps with both setups so i dont really care. Also the game is crap it just use 2 thread. It max out my 3770k first thread

For those of us 'Not in the know' can you elaborate?

If you enable Vsync it will lock to your Refresh rate, the issue here though and the Dev will be working on it is. When vsync enabled thr Frame rate also locks to your mouse movement and shows very bad input lag on this game.
