My Z4 needs 2 new rear tyres. Currently on stupid ubber expensive RE050A's.

Decided to move away from the bridestone's and replace all 4 tyres. Fonts still have 4mm on but i dont like mixing tyres plus its cheaper to replace all 4 tyres than 2 rear RE050A's.

camskills got some good offers on vredestein ultrac sessanta but im struggling to find someone in the leicester area who will fit them for a reasonable price.....

RE050A aren't that expensive?

Just buy the tyres online and get somewhere local to fit them (usually £8-£10 per corner).

Continental Sport Contact 5 - £96.98
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - £98.18
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A - £100.02

I have had all 3 tyres and rate them in the order I have put them. The RE050A aren't bad tyres at all and gripped/handled very well on my Mk1 TT. I personally would keep the 2 RE050A tyres and just buy 2 new Conti 5s

Edit:

Camskill
Goodyear Tyres / Car / Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - 225/40 R18 92Y XL FP TL - £89.99. Bargain!!

I haven't used a tyre place in a while, probably because most my tyres are huge and harder to find places which can get the full set... but I've always found Event Tyres the cheapest and they come out to you to fit them - check their site, you never know :)

Things may have changed, but when I lived in Nuneaton back in 2007 I used Britannia tyres in Hinckley. They used to beat the likes of Camskill on fitted price and I always had good service.

Give Jocks Tyres a ring and ask to speak to Glynn the manager (he's my uncle). He'll sort you out with a good deal, supplied & fitted :) They're based on Humberstone Road just outside of the city centre.
