Anyone been getting friend requests on facebook from her?

I work at Morrisons and a vast amount of employees from my store have all had a request from her. Lots have accepted this request not knowing who she is. She lives and works in Nottingham but her pictures are of people on Linkdin and Twitter, all having first name the same and the surname in some cases. Jenny, Jennifer and Jen but these people live/work in either Utah or West Virginia US.

I would presume it has something to do with the identity details leaked as a few of us had calls on our mobiles over the last two weeks from various places in Texas and a few other places near by.

Just a heads up if you work at Morrisons or know someone who does.

What better way to build up a huge social engineering/identity fraud database? "She" obviously already has a lot of their details and is going in for the rest, significant dates, mothers maiden name, kids/pet names etc, plenty of info there for potential passwords, e.g. for online banking etc...

@opstrat .. Yeah thats what I was on about in my Op. Lots of 'M' staff have removed 'her' from their accounts now which is good news but could possibly be too late, we may never know :-(

@davido.. How did you get to that picture? i did some detective work and didn't see that one.

Facebook account friend farming.

People create accounts, try and add as many friends to the accounts as possible and then sell the accounts on black hat hacker forums to advertisers or people pushing malware. From what I remember the prices being like a couple years ago, a dollar a friend on an account was pretty common.

Probably isn't then. Either the information from the leak has been sold, or whoever took it is now compiling spam / malware accounts.
