How much do you pay to get a hair cut at the barbers?

I paid £6.25 at a local barbers on a local back street corner near where I live yesterday. No4 on the back and sides and cut forward and short on top.

I handed over £7 and said keep the change. :cool:

I think that is the most I've ever paid for a hair cut.

Used to pay £40.00 in a salon. Now pay the same person £20.00 and she comes round to my house.

Alas, as my only reasonable choice for a haircut is .5 all over, I have no idea how much a haircut costs these days.

Go to a hair dressers pay £7 for a short cut (no clippers) on the back sides and messy on the top to do w/e with.

its about £10 - £12 at my local, not been for nearly a year now as i hate getting it cut, got to go soon

Grade 2 at back and sides and cut short on top. Ive had a mate barber do it for years he is amazing

They're ridiculous in there though. Friendliest, nicest women. First time I ever set foot in the place they were very chatty etc. nothing super special so far I agree....
Next time I went in was about six weeks later, they'd only met me once, remembered me straight away and picked up conversation where they'd left off!!

They're super busy and are the same with everyone!

No idea how they do it but I'm well impressed.

Cut my own hair now with one of those circular thingys? Cuts really short, used to have long hair.

£13.00 and normally tip £2.00.

Gets my hair styled exactly how I want it and Jackie is exceptionally friendly and polite. I only go in every other month, but she seemingly remembers the conversations we've had previously.
