Just wondered if anyone had become too impatient waiting for 6GB 780ti's and took the plunge on one of these beasts?

If so how are you liking them? :D

I know there is little to no performance benefits over a 780ti but that doesn't stop some people so was just curious if anyone had actually caved because its the current flagship until the waste of money that is the 'Z'..

I thought the titan black WAS a Ti with 6GB of VRAM (+ the compute stuff) but I think it would be crazy for nvidia to have a 6GB 780Ti AND a titan black. Its basically the same thing with a difference name on the box.

The titan black is also a workstation card you can game on quite well, Hence the pricetag,Cant really do that with a 780ti 6GB or 3GB

Gamer appeal for Titanblack will be fairly low If you're familiar with Kepler!

Awesome power but all a little too late for my liking. Personally going to try hard to stick with my 3gb Ti's for a while :)

I'm sure they will sell well though,as will Titan Z. Scarily :D

Theres postage costs to be added on to that etc. It normally ends up costing the same in pounds steriling as it does in us dollars in my experience.

I think we will be looking at closer to Ti pricing than current 780 pricing in the UK market.

It shouldn't equate to much more, as I am guessing the items are made in China and would need to be shipped to the USA, Europe, etc, so shipping should be accounted for in that $549 price tag.

Don't forget there should be 6GB 780s and 780ti according to some sites so there will be a more affordable 780 option and a more expensive but cheaper than Titan Black 780Ti option.

$549 = £330 + 20% tax = £396. If there is no price gouging, that will be the price of the 6GB 780.

The cheapest GTX 780 is £360, the average price of them is £380 to £420.

The cheapest 780TI is £480, my guess is the cheapest 780 6GB will be £420.

You know as well as me that what AMD/nVidia charge is not what we see at the retailers in general. I would also expect around the £420 mark for the 6GB 780 but that would be the fair price and we don't always see that.
