Such a great feeling to get the bare legs out on the road again. I'm not has hard as some of you lot who have been sporting just shorts for months.

A quick 15 miles just after work. There were plenty of other cyclists out on the lane.

Awesome!

It comes with a lifetime guarentee on frame and 2 years on the mechanicals which I was impressed by.

And decathlon stand by that guarantee. Someone recently managed to get their rear dérailleur stuck in the rear wheel which bent the frame (Triban 3). As they don't have any more triban 3's they are offering to build up the existing components onto a Triban 500SE frame I believe, same frame different paint I think. Very good of them considering it was more down to user error and were told exactly what happened just to see if they could help with sourcing a replacement frame.

you say that.. but have you actually tried riding with shorts in lets say -2c? :) I personally can't feel it.. ? as if legs are disconnected from my cold nerves haha.

Ended up doing 50 miles today as after work I cycled up to Alderley Edge to meet uv leaving work...came back via Poynton and then headed through Northenden and the Bridgewater canal route. Fun stuff but somewhat more than I planned to do as a random little ride after work :p

I don't find that it's the feeling of coldness that is an issue but I do worry about pwn'ing my knees by not having knee warmers. Last thing I need is to ruin my ability to ride/squat/dead/etc :/

I've been in shorts for about 7 weeks or so though. I stress about it but then just go out and ride in it anyhow :p

Your e-Peen is a bit shrivelled at -2 though right?

Shrivelled at -2 is nothing. Keep pushing.

edit: Just in case: :p

Tonight, for the second time since commuting in London, I got blasted by the exhaust fumes of a disgruntled cab driver. He felt he was being blocked by a couple of cyclists so preceded to spew black smoke into a group of us. Scum.

Sounds awesome :/ and sadly par for the course. I always assumed the black fumes were because they were "pleased to see" us.

Just search ebay for neodymium. Dont look in the cycling categories, because they are much more expensive there. Something like this.

Right, so I'm going to cycle to work for the first time in over a year. I'm taking a longer, less hilly route as pre 8am hills hurt.

Bleh, got my bike back, they didn't change a thing! Just a general service, think they greased the bottom bracket.

Great start to the day, long way in on the commute, and get a puncture, go to replace with brand new tube and it'd you a hole in it. Then manage to get my other one in all pumped up and that goes as well. Now waiting for a lift home. Such fun...

Boom! Highest average power yet on a training ride!

Had two blueberry redbulls this afternoon which might have helped!

243w average over 51km.

Must be seeing some benefit of the extra hills I've been hitting recently.

not even a mm ;) can you feel it touching your nose?

Shrivelled at -2 is nothing. Keep pushing.
