Looking for suggestions on bank and joint account

Hi all,

Myself and my girlfriend are looking to set up a joint current account. I have little experience with banks and how they are doing at the moment, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have initially looked at the Santander 123 current account, as our mortgage is with them and all of our bills are on the list that would provide cashback also.

Any particular banks I should stay away from, or on the flip side, one that I should be going to for sure?

Santander 123 current account will be the one everyone recommends especially if you've got all the things to qualify for all the bonuses.

Friend got a joint account for him & GF with Lloyds. Seems to be fine.
(And yes, I told him not to!)

She pays in to my 2nd account and that will stay like that forever haha

I use NatWest. My local branch has very good and friendly staff, moved away from Halifax.
