Cool - it has a stick type thing to change gears! :)

Wouldn't be in my top 5 fave Ferraris, but still.....SO.MUCH.WANT.

Guessing your pretty young?

That's pretty good though if you are, I remember back when I was 20, I was £1200 to insure a Mk2 Astra GTE 16v. Think that was around '99. Probably equates to nearer £1800 - £2000 today, either way, it was JUST under a weeks wages a month.

I would have only been a couple hundred quid more to insure a 911 IIRC at the time. Just didn't have the extra £30k to buy the 911 of course.

Stunning car, thing is are the running cost and reliability on a 355 or 360 still mind boggling, as they are now both sub 50k cars.

Its just when you see that service history, its done 1000-2000 miles per year, makes you wonder how much those services and running cost were and how one would fair if you were putting 10,000 miles a year on it.

Stunning cars without a doubt, though my favourite Ferrari is the F430 Spyder, love those!

360's are actually quite reasonable, only extra cost over the F430 is the belt service every 15k miles or 3 years.

355's are on a whole different level though, they suffer from major issues such as valve guides and an even worse header issue than the 360/430 suffer from.

Yes but they're very expensive to do, so it's a car you'd want to buy with these all done if possible. My F430 threw a $70k bill in month one, a 355 could easily do that and then some if you didn't buy carefully.

Get it PPI'd before you buy and make sure it has good service records.

I do still believe it's one of the best sounding Ferrari's ever, love the small capacity V8's.

Wow a 70k bill is always bad news. What happened,? Did the engine blow?

While I am looking for a car currently this one is 10x out of my price range. So im just looking, tyre kicking, and that's at best.

F355 has always been my favourite Ferrari. It's not a car I would like to own, but one I'd like to drive and experience.

That is one good looking MR2! ;)

I didn't actually spot the tape deck till I saw a post on it. I'd have to hit fleabay to get some Hall & Oates casettes for top down days.

No, an engine would be a lot more!

It was a new gearbox and then differential, not pretty but it's great now.
