I didn't help you,but nice. 780 is a amazing GPU.

I almost jumped the bridge back to green after months of grief with the 7990 and then R9 290. Thankfully I hanged in there a bit and finally got things sorted. Glad to see you all set now :)

Glad you got things sorted :) (just recently started having an issue with a gpu, so I know the feeling when things mess up) :)

Classy by any chance?:D

"T h e N u t s".................. and yes it is an amazing gpu.

i wont be spending another 400 quid on a card but does it really make that much difference?

i am also intrigued at wonder drivers :)

im not that fussed about overclocking but is there anything that can be done to this card and is it noticeable?

Glad you have a card that works and your happy with :)
Depending what model 780 you have yes o/cing can make a reasonable difference

Glad you are sorted mate, excellent card the 780 is, I too thought hard about a 780 or a R9 290 and plumped for the Msi 290 Gaming, excellent card as well, rock solid on 13.12 drivers, but I must admit I grow impatient with Amd waiting for stable mantle/Tru-audio drivers to get what I paid for. Enjoy your 780. :)

True audio is out? Mantle is out? What drivers are you using?

Mantle is impressive shankly, but tbh i have no idea what true audio is, i use a dedicated pcie audio card, (xonar dx) and tbh the sound from it is stunning. Im a trained classical singer so i know good sound when i hear it. True audio sounds interesting but surely it cant match what a dedicated sound card can do?

Atm only one game uses trueaudio and that's thief. TA you can still use your sound card because how it works the audio is processed on the GPU before it is sent to the sound card.

What Trueaudio gives to games and devs is the first programmable audio.
If you have R9 200 series gpu and have thief give it a try even though thief isn't using TA to its full potential it sure is a great experience.

The real question is how many games are going to use it I hope loads to come because I love it. :D
